ORDINANCE NO. 96-07

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR SUBDIVISION PLANNING

AND PLATTING WITHIN DENALI BOROUGH.

BE IT ENACTED by the Assembly of the Denali Borough, Alaska that:

Section 1. Classification. This ordinance is of a general and permanent nature.

Section 2. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to provide for subdivision planning and platting within Denali Borough.

Section 3. Authority.

1.) Alaska Statutes Title 29.35.180 (b).

2.) Denali Borough, Code of Ordinances/Chapter 35.

Section 4. Surveys. All surveys shall be accomplished by an Alaska State Certified Surveyor prior to submittal of subdivision plats.

Section 5. Recordation. All survey plats shall be recorded by the subdivider with the appropriate land recording office.

Section 6. Access. Legal access and utility easements and rights-of-way within subdivisions shall be a consideration for plat approval.

Section 7. Effective Date. This ordinance becomes effective upon adoption by the Denali Borough Assembly and signature of the Mayor.
